New goals, changes in perspectives, and 100 days of Python
Rethinking goals
In the past few months, I have dedicated time to analyzing the job market and reflecting on my professional purpose.
Through this process, I realized the need to set new goals, and I found in the Python programming language a promising path to realign my perspectives and build something meaningful.
That’s why I decided to share this learning journey — to strengthen my knowledge in algorithms, data structures, software development, and data analysis.
The future of work in transition
We are living in times of profound transformation in the world of work:
- debates about working hours,
- the impact of automation on job extinction,
- and concerns about how rights and labor relations will adapt.
In tech, this discussion is even sharper, especially with the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The wave of mass layoffs in the post-pandemic years showed how fragile and fast-changing the industry can be.
Why Python?
After reflecting, I realized that while web development is exciting, it wasn’t fully aligned with my long-term goals.
Python, however, offered me the chance to explore new horizons: from Data Science to automation and even creative applications.
I now maintain two public repositories where I document my practice and progress:
In the near future, I also plan to create videos and interactive content to share knowledge and reflect on how technology can enhance human potential.
Discipline & persistence
Shifting perspectives and starting over is never easy. It requires:
- discipline to keep a consistent study rhythm,
- persistence to face challenges,
- and the courage to keep learning in public.
I’ve been inspired by excellent references along the way, and I want to pass them on to others starting their own journey.
Final thoughts
We are living through a transformative moment in society.
It’s the right time to dream, question, and reshape structures.
Nothing is fixed or permanent — and it is in this cycle of continuous evolution that we can create a better future.
